Stain & odour removal · Auckland

Carpet stain removal in Aucklandsmells, tackled.

Coffee, red wine, pet accidents, mystery marks and lingering smells — treated at the source by trained cleaners, then finished with the full 120°C clean. We give you a straight read on what'll lift first, so there are no false promises.

In short

Treated at the source, then flushed clean.

Carpet stain treatment in Auckland — red wine, pet urine, coffee, ink and grease treated by 120°C hot-water extraction, right down to the backing, no sticky residue. We treat coffee, red wine, food, grease, ink, blood and pet-accident stains — and the odours behind them — with targeted, fibre-safe treatments and enzyme odour control, then flush them with a true 120°C steam clean that reaches the backing, not just the surface. IICRC-trained and owner-operated from our Henderson base, we give you an honest read on what will and won't lift before we start — from $49, treatment priced with your clean.

What a stain treatment includes

Treated at the source, not painted over.

The same honest method as everything we do — read the stain first, treat it right, and tell you the truth about what it'll do.

  • Targeted treatment matched to the stain — coffee, red wine, food, grease, ink, blood, mud and the everyday marks of a busy home.
  • Pet accidents and odour tackled at the source with enzyme treatment — not just masked with fragrance.
  • A straight read up front: we tell you what we think will lift and what might not, before we start.
  • Finished with the full 120°C clean so the treated area blends back in, not a clean patch in a tired carpet.

The honest bit: every stain is individual, and it may respond fully, partly, or not at all — we don't promise to remove every one, because no honest cleaner can. A stain that's already had supermarket removers or bleach on it is much harder to shift, and can even be locked in. We give you a straight read first, and do our best work.

Spilled something right now?

First aid, then call.

The first few minutes matter more than anything we do later — so here's what genuinely helps, and the "hacks" that quietly set the stain in for good.

  • Scrape off any solids with a blunt edge — lift them away, don't grind them in.
  • Blot, never rub — press a clean white cloth or paper towel straight down, working from the outside in. Rubbing spreads the stain and frays the pile.
  • Cold water only, and just a little — then stop and call us while it's fresh. Fresh is far easier than set.

Skip the usual "hacks": vinegar, dish soap, baking soda and supermarket removers can set the colour or bleach the pile, and hydrogen peroxide — the popular red-wine trick — can leave a lighter patch behind. The most common mistake, hard scrubbing, drives the stain deeper and wicks it back up as the carpet dries. Leave the deep part to us and you keep every option open.

Great prices - lucked out due to special promo. Awesome communication and excellent cleaning job for my carpets and couches. They almost feel like new. Non toxic chemicals, truck mounted steam cleaner to tackle the muck and grime of life.

Apex has done a couple of houses for me, and they were perfect every time. The house that was done recently was a new build that had been sitting for a few years and had very fine fiber particle dust in the carpet. The carpet now looks and feels brand new.

FANTASTIC JOB! he was professional, fast and polite. Our dog had brought concrete tar into our home and there is no way to get it out! if it's on your clothes you need to throw them away so we just wanted it to look nicer. BUT he removed it all along with old pet pee stains, coffee stains and green stuff from our deck over the winter that made its way inside. I'll be hiring them again 10/10. thank you!

Very courteous and friendly service. Bency really wanted to please us and did a perfect clean then offered to do a large mat as well, which was not in his quoted price. We were delighted and of course insisted on paying him for the extra work. Overall his price was most reasonable anyway. We would definitely use this Company's services again and would sooner wait for them if necessary, rather than risk a lesser job with another operator. Well done!

Ben arrived promptly spent some time sourcing hose tap & power access, placed plastic protectors to ensure no damage could occur to walls / corners while moving the equipment in to the house. Worked in a very professional manner (non stop) cleaning a massive rug & 3 piece suite. I am an independent customer, my daughter used their services & made the recommendation, you should consider using them, I would give them AAA+++ (my top rating)

I called apex cleaners very last minute the night before, and they were accomodating and let me book an appointment for a big cleaning job. The technician, Bobby, was punctual, fast, and efficient! My mattress looks brand new - old set in stains were removed! Bobby also cleaned the carpets of four bedrooms - they looks so clean and fresh it's unbelievable! The job was done quickly and to a high standard.

Good to know

Straight answers, before you book.

Often yes — especially if it hasn't been scrubbed or dried in. We treat the pigment with a targeted, fibre-safe solution and flush it with hot-water extraction. Fresh spills lift best; a wine stain that's been rubbed hard or hit with a supermarket remover is tougher, and we'll give you a straight read before we start.

Often — but it has to be treated all the way down, not just on the surface. Urine soaks through the pile into the backing and underlay, so a surface clean lets the smell wick back. We treat it with an enzyme that breaks the urine down, then extract it from deep in the carpet. Old, repeated accidents are the hardest — sometimes the underlay is the real source, and we'll tell you honestly what we can reach.

Usually yes — even older ones. Coffee and tea are tannin stains; we treat them with a targeted tannin remover and flush with 120°C extraction. The before-and-after on this page is a real Te Atatū lounge of set-in coffee and tea. Very old or previously-bleached marks may only partly lift — you'll get a straight read first.

We treat every stain — but like a doctor with a patient, we can't promise a full cure on all of them. Some have permanently changed the fibre's dye, so no treatment brings it all the way back. Our promise: we give you an honest read before we start, tell you what will respond well and what won't, then treat each one with the right method and do our very best. Most respond beautifully — the honest few that won't, you'll hear about up front. No false hope, no surprises.

Best thing: blot it gently with a clean white cloth and a little plain water, then leave the rest to us. Please don't reach for supermarket spot removers or bleach — they can react with our treatment later (and sometimes bleach the fibre), and a stain that's already been DIY-treated is much harder for us to shift. A quick blot, and let us know what happened.

That's usually "wicking" — a deep stain, or something in the carpet backing, slowly rising to the surface as the carpet dries. It's normal and fixable: tell us within 7 days and we'll come back and re-treat it at no charge. It's covered by our workmanship guarantee.
